Rugby Cafe Writer Wendy Goulstone has contributed a poem to a new anthology raising money for NHS Covid-19 charities.
The new book features writers’ impressions of the 2020 pandemic: life under lockdown, loss and love, visions for the future. It includes the top picks of judge Andrew McMillan, a people’s vote winner based on videos of BBC Casualty actors, and other longlisted poems.
Wendy’s poem, entitled Guilt-Think, was longlisted for the anthology and was inspired by life under lockdown. Follow this link for details on how to buy the book.
Write Out Loud is a national (indeed, international) hub for participation in poetry, encouraging everyone who writes poetry – from still-too-nervous-to-do-open-mic to Nobel Prize winner – to share their words with others.
